Course Overview

In today’s diverse and everchanging business environment, it is crucial for all non-finance managers and executives to develop important financial skills.

Training Objective

To equip non-finance professionals with a foundational understanding of financial concepts, practices, and decision-making tools relevant to their roles. By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

3.Interpret Financial Statements: Learn to read and interpret balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to understand the financial health of projects and the organization.


4.Understand the Impact of Operational Decisions on Financial Performance: Recognize how day-to-day operational decisions influence the company’s financial outcomes and how financial alignment can enhance overall performance.


5.Communicate Financial Insights: Be able to effectively communicate financial insights with finance teams and contribute meaningfully to discussions that impact the company's financial health. Evaluate a company’s liquidity, capital adequacy, profitability, and cash management practices based on the information provided in financial statements. Understand Working Capital Management.


6.Strategic cost management (SCM): Be able to understand cost and cost behavior in order to control costs to improve a company's strategic position, profitability, and revenue
