Introduction

This ISO 14001: 2015 Awareness training provides participants with an overview of the Environmental management systems structure and requirements including organisational context, risk-based thinking, leadership commitment, planning, support, operational control, performance evaluation and improvement as set out in the International Standard. This course will raise the awareness of participants to understand ISO 14001 Management System requirements and the roles and responsibilities of both management and employees to ensure an effective implementation of the system. This training course is designed to meet the requirements of any organization implementing the Environmental management system based on ISO 14001:2015 international standard.

Training Objective

• To enable delegates to understand ISO 14001:2015 structure & requirements.

• To enable the delegates to understand key concepts in Environmental Management System based on ISO framework and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle.

• To enable the delegates to understand basic Environmental law in Malaysia.

• To enable the delegates to understand key Environmental processes eg Environmental Aspect Impact, Legal determination and compliance obligation, Emergency Preparedness & Response, Management of Change, eliminating hazards & reducing risks according to hierarchy of control etc.

• To understand the rationale and the foundation of the standard to Identify area for improvements and ensure effective implementation of ISO 14001 requirements.

• To create the path or journey for the development and enhancement of the company’s Environmental management system.
